A brief history

bathSAT was started by director Paul Lewis in March 2003 on a sole-trader basis and was incorporated as a limited company in March 2007.

Paul started his career in telecommunications in 1988 as a telephone engineer with Rovas and then with Ericsson as a cable jointer.  Subsequent promotions then followed within Telewest as a service engineer, field operations supervisor and latterly as broadband internet regional manager.  After leaving Telewest Paul joined Sky on their installations team before becoming a trainer.  It was whilst working for Sky in the Bath area that Paul recognised the niche in the market for an independent installer to cover the Sky refusal work and bathSAT was born.

Angie Lewis joined the business in 2004 to support Paul in the office, having worked previously as a director’s secretary at Rotork Controls, one of Bath’s major employers.
